Explaining Christmas To A Pine Tree

I was in the woods and a pine tree needed help he didn't know what Christmas was and why when he grows up why he'll be in  someones house. I told him that Christmas is a time to be with your family and loved ones. Also a time where there should be no fighting , arguments, or yelling. Everyone should just b e happy and enjoy the holidays and not to be so angry. He was happy that he would grow up and be in someones house celebrating Christmas with happy people. I said 'Well that's good you should be happy, but not everyone is happy.' Then he said 'That's okay hopefully a tree like me will make people happy.'

Christmas

Every year around Christmas my family drinks hot cocoa all the time. I love it when it snows and me and my little brother,my little sister and my dog go outside and play. When we're done my mom makes us hot cocoa and we warm up do it again. My brother is in the Navy and even though he's not home for Christmas his stocking still gets filled every year but we always end up eating the candy before he gets home. My dog goes and rolls around in the snow and then she gets in trouble because she brings snow in the house. On Christmas morning we wake up around 5:30 and my mom and dad take forever to get up.

Snow Day

Last Friday we did not have school because it was a snow day. I went outside and played in the snow with my little brother and little sister. We made a fort and sat outside with my dog in the fort playing for about a half hour. We all bundled up with several layers of clothing and dirtied a whole but of clothes. My mom was upset and kid of mad because we used all the clothes and then she had to rewash them a whole bunch. My dog brought in a whole bunch of snow in the house because she roles around in the snow and gets snow chunks on her and in her hair. I was with my family we watched movies and drank hot cocoa and just had fun being a family. My dad, my aunt, and my grandpa had to go to work, but they made it safely there and back without getting hurt.
