My Week/Weekend

The rest of the week is going to be a very fun one, along with the weekend. Tonight, my mom, my cousin Jessi, and my former pet trainer Meredith and going to Lapas to eat and have a girls night. Then, Friday I'm going on a field trip to Six Flags and be in a contest for band. Now then there's the weekend; Saturday I'm helping Jessi build her new chicken coop for Nugget, Dumpling, and  Popcorn, along with her other chickens. But I have know idea what I'm going to do Sunday, but I hope I go to the mall to get my jean jacket for my dress.

Boom Box Story

Abe found a boom box on the side of the road one day while he was driving. He picked it up and pressed play. Music blared out of the speakers and Abe listened to the words until the song was over. He looked curiously to see if anyone was looking at him, no one was. He decided to take the boom box back to the White house and sat it on his desk. Looking at it like he had struck gold, presses the play button again, he really enjoyed the songs. He listed to them all day long until he found our the play button suddenly wouldn't work, for that the button had broke, leaving him to the songs stuck in his head for a long, long time.

This Weekend

This weekend my friend Brittany is having a bridal shower on the 13th. It should be fun  and my cousin and I had some plans for her bridal shower too. But in the same weekend my brother Kyle has track practice, then that upcoming days next week we are off Thursday through the next Monday. Then I have a band contest that Tuesday to Six Flags. This weekend and the next couple of days are pretty jam-packed full of sport/band related things going on.

This weekend I'm not doing a thing. But I  do have a band contest at Windsor Middle School. I guess I plan on just laying on the couch and watching movies all weekend with my dogs. My mom said if it was nice enough, Saturday we may take the pups our to the local dog park and walk them around and play. My friend Keri and her pug Meatloaf might join us too. I hope it goes as planned, or ill be on the couch watching movies with my dogs like I already had planned for my maybe-not so boring weekend.

What To Do When Your kids Are Bored On A Snow Day

                        What do you do when your kids are bored on a snow day:

1. Have them go outside and play! even with a friend.
2. If they have younger siblings, go play a game or even make up your own.
3. Ask them  if they want to build a snowman.
4. Watch a movie, like Frozen.
5. Play "the floor is lava"
6. If you have a pet, teach it new tricks, like to play dead.
7. Draw pictures and hang them around the house to show off your artistic skills (if you have them)
8. Play hide-and-seek, inside or out
9. Take a nap and enjoy your snow day while you can!
